Mindful Monday - March 14th

Hello.
Good morning.
Salutations.

“Patience is not passive, on the contrary, it is concentrated strength.”
Bruce Lee

Brucey! Wise, strong and appropriate words, thanks mate.

Like all Mondays, today brings you the gift of a new week. A gift that you get to use however you choose. Perhaps something fun… important… serious… caring… responsible… frivolous… lasting… fleeting… Or maybe take some time and practise some patience.

Make it worthwhile.

And now, an attempt to help you smile.

Real life lightsaber
Finally. It’s here. This guy made a childhood fantasy into a real life – and slightly dangerous – thing. Using an electrolyser to separate hydrogen and oxygen, a 3-foot retractable beam is possible. Very cool!

Bikes to the rescue
Transport, or lack thereof, remains a genuine challenge for millions of people around the world. Chicago-based charity World Bicycle Relief helps remove the many barriers of travel by distributing bikes all over the world, creating access to schools, health care and jobs to thousands. Support here and read nice stories here.

Skating in – and out – of conflict
SkatePal is teaching kids how to skate and build skate parks in occupied Palestine. Teaching skating skills improves both physical and mental health while also cultivating a broader sense of community. Roll on…

Three wheels… electrified
What’s better than an electric bike? A three-wheeled electric bike! Pre-orders are open for this sweet ride. With more grip, road contact and stability, this may be a great option to get more people out on bikes.

Have a great week.
Breathe.
Smile.

Big love,
Luke
