Fee Structure Pre-Payment Plan – Wellness Packages
All fees can be found here, or please check with your local clinic page to see the fee structures of that clinic.
All fees are payable at the time of service. We have also made available a cost effective pre-payment plan to help your finances and as a reward for making a commitment to your health and wellness.
Interruption of Care and Refunds
In the unlikely event that you need to discontinue your care and you have prepaid for a course of care, the remaining credit will be refunded via the following formula; number of visits received times full adjustment fee (£45) subtracted from the total amount paid.
24 hour notice policy – Rescheduling Appointments
To reschedule an appointment, 24 hours’ notice is required or 50% of the service fee due will be payable. Our chiropractor’s diaries are regularly fully booked, by giving us adequate notice you offer the opportunity for another client to take your appointment time who may otherwise have been turned away. We do understand that we live in London and sometimes this is unavoidable, but please let us know as soon as possible. Our front desks do their best to help you stick to any recommendations made.
Informed Consent for Examination and Treatment
We require consent before we can commence consultation, examination, x-rays and ongoing treatment. The minimal risks associated with treatment will be explained before any treatment is given. We endeavour to provide all our clients with as much information about themselves and their body, their care options, chiropractic, health and wellness and are always happy to answer any questions. By undertaking any treatment with us you acknowledge that you give us your consent to do so.
Owing to the various coverage provided by different insurers and terms they offer some of our Chiropractors are not registered with all health insurers. For this same reason, none of our staff will know the in’s and out’s of your policy. It is your responsibility to contact your insurer to ensure the practitioner you are seeing is covered by them and to then pass on your insurance information to our office team ASAP in the event your insurer contacts the clinic. All responsibility for ensuring the practitioner is covered lies with the client and under no circumstances will the clinic be held liable for a client failing in their due diligence to ensure they are covered prior to attendance. We regret that we cannot hold accounts and require payment being settled with us on the day and reclaimed from your insurer. Our front desk can not amend or change receipts for services provided as this illegal.
SMS Reminder messages
We have a text message service to remind you of your next appointment. Please bear in mind that as it is our computer that generates the text, you cannot text back, and that messages are not 100% reliable, so please make a diary note of your appointment time also.
Once you’ve updated your google review and checked in on facebook, please put your phone away and enjoy a digital detox for the time in the clinic – have a lie down on the chiro beds and relax for your adjustment.
Our aim is to make you feel as comfortable as possible so we have discarded the use of gowns. Please dress sensibly in clothing that will not restrict your movement in any way. If you feel uncomfortable during a treatment session for any reason, please ask for one of our assistants to be present in the room. You may be asked to change into a gown if an X-ray is being taken.
Internal Complaints Procedure
Our aim is to provide you and your family with the best care possible. If, for any reason, you are unhappy with any aspect of your experience please contact our C.O.O at firstname.lastname@example.org We aim to be as approachable as possible and hold any information in the strictest of confidence, so please communicate with us freely and we will attempt to resolve any issues quickly. X-Rays and Radiology Policy Chiropractors
Like all health professionals using X-rays, are bound by the ‘Ionising Radiation (medical exposure) Regulations, 2000’ which outline safety procedures and justification for taking X-rays. At PCC we follow these regulations to the letter and you can be assured we are doing all we can to minimise any exposure to ionising radiation. The X-ray machine and digital X-ray processor ensure optimal image quality with minimal exposure. You will be emailed a copy of any x-rays after your practitioner has walked you through them.
