Mindful Monday - June 28th

Yo, yo, yo! Good morning and happy summer holidays for many of you!

Do you have any summer projects, goals and/or dreams?
What does a “successful” summer look and feel like to you?

Sure, the world continues to open up, but there may well be a few more hiccups to negotiate before we’re on the other side, so let’s keep an open mind and stay as adaptable as possible.

And breathe…

Too much of a good thing?
For many years there seemed to be some contention about whether taking vitamins and supplements was necessary. However, thankfully, now the opposite question is being asked and it’s an important one – can you overdose on vitamins?

Our Form friends dive deep into this here and even explain the different between water- and fat-soluble vitamins. Interestingly healthy.

Beautiful running
Running remains one of the most popular forms of exercise. Perhaps it’s the simplicity of it – you don’t need much stuff to get going – or maybe it’s the incredibly well documented health benefits, or maybe the almost infinite resources available to help get you from the couch to the track (Couch to 5km)? Or maybe it’s the chance to run on these most beautiful athletic tracks around the world.

Ready…
Set…
Go!?

Sustainable bricks
Summer building project? Totally hear you. Wouldn’t it be nice to know your bricks are sourced responsibly?

The good news is Lego is developing their new and improved iconic bricks to be made from recycled bottles. Yay for Lego. Yay for science. Yay for builders, both big and small.

The lightest glasses
Lindberg have created these totally customisable and crazy light glasses. Weighing in at only 3.3 grams and not a screw to be seen, you choose the colour and design and make them uniquely yours. Looking good, guys.

“What's boring doesn't get attention and what's exciting doesn't drive results. Most people are so focused on optics they forget that it's the repetition of the boring basics that makes a difference.”

Oh hell yes. Basics, basics, basics.

Big love,
Luke X
