One of the many iconic bridges that spans the river Thames, decorating the city scape and connecting North and South London is closed for vital repairs until October. Putney Bridge which was designed by Joseph Bazalgette was first built back in 1886 so it’s not surprising that it’s in need of a little TLC.
These major works are due to continue for the next 3 months causing huge disruptions for quite a few of the area’s residents. But while certain commuters, delivery, taxi drivers etc might be pulling their hair out over it, we couldn’t be happier!
Without the through traffic, Putney has reverted back to a village feel with access, parking and general environment having greatly improved – there’s no better time to visit Putney Chiropractic and get a summer adjustment.
