Not the Christmas break Doc Craig was expecting

Drew gives us an update on Doc Craig…

As some of you are already aware by popping in, or stalking him on social media, Dr Craig decided it was a great idea to pull a ‘Dr Michael’ at the velodrome this week by cannoning into a bunch of his fellow cyclists and soaring through the air like a majestic reindeer on Christmas Eve, only to come crashing back to earth with a rather large thud.

You can checkout the results of his spectacular human cannonball below in his finely drawn images. The result, in a nutshell, is a broken collarbone, a couple of broken fingers and a cracked neck. From his own mouth it looks unlikely he will be back in practice before Easter. (Although we do suspect he is milking it a bit!)

You might be wondering…what happens now?

Not to worry, Dr Bryan, who most of you have already met, is popping in for some extra hours to look after you all at Dr Craig’s request.

That said, if you would prefer to see Dr Luke, Dr Edwina or Dr Ami-Bree, you are most welcome to! You’ll be in very good (but different) hands! Just give Laura or Dayna a buzz to let us know what you would like to do.

Dr Craig’s main priority of course, is ensuring you stick to your recommended care plan, regardless of who you carry on seeing.‚Äč

We’re sure you’ll all join us in wishing Craig a speedy recovery.
