Stage One – Initial Intensive Phase
This is when you first come through the door looking for answers on why you’re feeling the way to do and what it will take to alleviate any symptoms you are experiencing.
We start to explain the healing process that naturally takes place in your body and how we can help you move towards optimal function.
This intensive phase is when the bulk of the hardwork is put into changing & restoring the function of your nervous system & spine. This period can last anywhere from 3 months onwards, depending on your individual requirements and how well you adhere to your recommended schedule.
Your progress will be monitored and your programme tailored to meet your body’s changes. Your progress will be reviewed every 12-15 visits during this stage.
Stage Two – Corrective, Remodelling and Consolidation phase
From the end of your initial phase of intensive adjustments, this second phase is designed to consolidate the foundations that have just been built in your spine.
Symptomatic pain may have eased by now; however, it is important to continue with this phase of care to ensure all the work you have put in does not unravel.
Your care plan will be tailored to your needs, but could be anything from twice a week, to once a week, to every 10 days, to once a fortnight for six-12 months depending on the individual.
Stage Three – Ongoing Optimisation
Upon making it through your consolidation phase you will have all of the information you require to make your own informed decisions about your health. This is where the fun part begins! Your body is well on the way back to health and not just in the ‘I don’t feel any pain’ stage.
Now is the time for you to think about how far you have come and how great you are feeling! This is the time where many people realise how getting adjusted regularly, not just to alleviate pain, but as a healthy lifestyle choice can benefit your way of life greatly. I will always recommend a plan for optimal wellbeing and performance and much like going for a checkup at the dentist, this will be based on prevention rather than cure.
