January 10km 2008
Dr Craig and Fran took up the challenge in the first 10k race of 2008. Fran is training for the Marathon in April, and confessed that this was her first race since primary school!

They both did really well, and are looking forward to the next run on 27th April – fancy joining them? Go to the Innovation Sports website, and you can either sign up in advance or on the day.

A brilliant sunny day welcomed the runners for this test of speed and endurance. The challenge was laid down to all clients of Putney Chiropractic and look who took up the challenge!

We were joined by clients and friends who had heard we were taking part in the run. A great team was formed looking the goods in the bright red vests and after a brief warm up lead by Dr Craig we were ready to run!

There were some great times and great achievements on the day, PB’s were set and debuts were completed. Well done to all who competed. Thank you for being a part of the “Get Your Butts Off The Sofa” summer of 2008.

Thank you to our sponsors Profeet and Southern Alps. The winner of the Profeet prize was Thomas McMillan from Anita Cox Hair and Beauty, Battersea. We all enjoyed the Slow Pucks after the race, thank you Southern Alps.

Not such a sunny day this time! As the torrential rain poured down, about 200 of the 400 entrants tried to shelter in the bandstand. It was cosy to say the least, but, enevitably, we had to bite the bullet and head out into the wild weather.

Drs Craig, Abby and Edwina put in some strong performances in the slippy autumnal conditions with both Abby and Edwina beating their personal bests.

We were joined by five other clients which, given the conditions, is understandable, lucky it was the last run of the year. Remember, that for the effort of running, you get a £35 adjustment voucher, which is actually worth more than the cost to run the race, so no excuses for next year!
