Dr Craig and Dr Edwina headed off to Eton for one of the summer series of supersprints.
Break in the weather
Thankfullly, after all the flooding and downpours the weather held out for the morning, and even the sun came out for a few hours. The wind held off but the water was very cold!
The race centred around the 2km rowing course, with two laps of the swim course, six laps of the cycle course and two of the run. Distances were around half Olympic – 750m swim, 30km cycle and a 8km run.
Both Craig and Edwina were early out of the water in their individual waves, and made good times in their transitions. Craig finished in 1hr 39 minutes, and Edwina crossed the line in 2hrs 14 minutes.
Thank you to Patrick who came and cheered – your support was greatly appreciated!
