Thermomix demonstration – June 2011
With today’s fast paced lifestyle, we cook far less than we used to. Homemade bread, jams, juices, soups, sauces, salads, dips, cakes, biscuits are a thing of the past. The fast, ready-made foods that feature in today’s diet are making us sick. In children and adults, disease and obesity are at an all time high. We’ve heard alot about the amazing Thermomix, but we wanted to see it in action for ourselves. If you’re keen to see how this gadget could change your eating habits, come along and see what it can do.
The brochure promises that it “makes it simple to bring fresh, wholesome, nutrient dense food back into your diet. Preparation is cut from minutes to seconds and cooking is gentle ensuring the flavours, vitamins and minerals are locked into each mouthful. With Thermomix in the kitchen, you will taste the difference and see the difference in the foods you prepare. Faster and more efficient than any similar appliance, it saves time, money and importantly valuable space in the kitchen. Thermomix lets you return to the tradition of home style cooking using technology of the future.” More information available at www.ukthermomix.com
