Eton
Super Sprints Triathlon
Dr Craig Mclean headed off to Eton
for one of the summer series of supersprints.
Glorious weather
It was a fantastic day, and the rowing lake looked really
quite inviting! The organisation was very slick, and there
was even a kiddie triathlon before hand consisting of running,
cycling and scootering.
The race centred around the 2km rowing course, and all activity
and transitions were based at the course headquarters.
Exhausted but triumphant
Craig managed to lead the race once again, but this time also
left the water first, to much cheering and headed off to the
transition.
A good cycle helped him maintain a podium position, but the
running on such a unusually hot day took it's toll, and he
limped home in 6th position with some very impressive blisters.
