Toys for Treatment 2006
We are pleased to bring to you once again our
favourite part of Christmas - Putney Chiropractic Toys for
Treatment day following the success
of last year.
Lots of lovely toys
On Saturday 2nd December the doctors donated time when our
clients brought a toy for their treatment, which were donated
to the Wandsworth
Primary Play Association. Thank you to everyone who took
part, and we know that your efforts will have made a read
difference.
We are proud of our vision of helping the local community
to stay well and be their best, hence we like to find a local
charity that can benefit from the generosity of the practice
clients. WPPA was our chosen charity last year, and we hope
to raise a similarly large pile of toys for them to enjoy
this year!
Wandsworth Primary Play
The Association provides childcare, offering the child support
and interaction and the parent the chance to return to work.
They also have a toy library that gives many children the
opportunity to benefit from all PCC donations.
WPPA is a charitable company which acts as an umbrella organisation
for over 50 voluntary run childcare groups in the London Borough
of Wandsworth.
Their primary aim is to advance the care, education and development
of children up to and including the age of 11 years by encouraging
parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children
through community groups.
At present member groups are comprised of Parent/Carer & Toddler
Groups, Playgroups, Extended Playgroups, Children Centre's
and Nurseries, Breakfast Clubs, After School Care Schemes
and Holiday Schemes.
