London
Ski Show 2008
The Metro
Ski Show, held at Kensington Olympia during late October,
puts on display all that is skiing in the UK and worldwide.
Putney Chiropractic Centre was invited back to look after
the young athletes who put their bodies on the line for the
crowd's viewing pleasure. We were provided a private booth
in the upstairs Riders Environment
to keep the riders in great shape and repair some of the injuries
they’ve been carrying through the summer.
Top talent on the table
On the table were most of the top 10 UK free skiers. Including
the likes of James Woods, Mike Wakefield, Paddy Graham, Murray
Buchan, James Webb. Others who popped by for a tune up
included Graham Bell of Ski Sunday fame and Warren Smith and
his coaching team from the Warren
Smith Ski Academy.

On Saturday the Internationally
renowned ‘The London Ride’ was held at the ski show and UK
skiers James Wood and Mikey Wakefield took out second and
third places.
Heading for the Freeze
On the Friday we followed the skiers to the Channel 4 London
Freeze event at Battersea Power Station. An even bigger
kicker had been built here and the riders were going big.
James Woods put on a stunning run against the eventual winner
PK Hunder, to make the UK crew proud
Thanks to all the Chiropractors from Putney (Craig, Edwina,
Abby, Carlyle and Nimrod) who were all on hand at the show.
See you again next year.
