Flora London Marathon
Dr Carlyle Jenkins put his body and mind to the
test and ran the 2005 Flora London Marathon.
Pushing to the limit
After serious training (including some high altitude work),
and taking care of his health and diet, Carlyle felt ready
for the race. He ran a time of 3hr 52 minutes.
Carlyle chose to incorporate invaluable help during his preparation.
With footbeds and shoes from Profeet, nutritional support
from Galen Naturopathic Centre, advice and training from personal
trainer Wendy Spence.
Along with regular adjustments from Craig, Paul and Erin,
the preparation flew by with a broken thumb suffered during
high altitude training the only hiccup!
Money for Charity
Not only did he achieve a personal goal, but raised £1500
for Sense - the Deaf Blind Charity. Congratulations Carlyle!
