// How to find us

Putney Chiropractic Centre is in Weiss Road just off the Lower Richmond Road down by the river, close to Putney Bridge and High Street and very near the Half Moon Pub.

We’re a short walk from tube, train and bus and there is pay and display parking in most surrounding roads. There’s even a handy Sainsbury’s to do a quick shop next door, plus some other very trendy Putney shops and a fantastic coffee shop right on the corner of our road.

Car Parking
There is plenty of pay and display parking very close by. Our favourite pay-and-display areas are the half hour bays on Lower Richmond Road opposite the Sainsbury’s Petrol station, and the four-hour bays on Putney Embankment either near the Duke’s Head or near Leaders Park. Roads off the Lower Richmond Road in the Richmond direction past the practice usually have spaces in, within a couple of minutes walk. The Waitrose (Putney Exchange) car park is only a couple of minutes walk away, so useful if you wish to also do some shopping.

There is cheeky 24 hour free parking option down by the river, on the water side of the yellow line in front of the boat sheds (it can be tricky angles though, and mind the high tides!).

Most yellow lines in this area are no parking 7am-7pm Monday – Saturday, so please don’t get caught out. If you are visiting early or late, check the signs on the bays and you may well be able to park close by for free there. For a comprehensive map of all the Putney Parking Zones, please see the Wandsworth Council website. There is an extensive but somewhat confusing regulations page on the Council website.

Putney Bridge

By Bus:

  • The 22 from Putney Common goes along Lower Richmond Road, over Putney Bridge, then down the Kings Road to Chelsea and Green Park.
  • The 265 starts at Putney Bridge tube and heads along Lower Richmond Road to Barnes, Roehampton and Kingston Vale.
  • The 485 from Hammersmith comes along Lower Richmond Road and heads towards Wandsworth.
  • The 74 is a direct link from Baker St, Earls Court, Fulham Palace Road directly to Putney Bridge.
  • The 270 from Mitcham and Tooting goes through Wandsworth to Putney High St.
  • The 85 bus from Kingston comes through Roehampton and Putney Heath to Putney High Street.
  • The 337 from Richmond comes all the way along the Upper Richmond Road and crosses at the top of Putney High St – a five minute walk to the practice. (The train is a bit quicker from Richmond). It also comes from Clapham Junction in the other direction along with the 37 from Brixton.

For a very comprehensive PDF of all bus routes through the Putney area please see the Transport for London website.

Closest Tube station:
Putney Bridge, on the Wimbledon branch of the District Line (green) is the closest tube. From Putney Bridge Tube, the 265 bus will bring you almost to the door on Putney Bridge Road. If you prefer to walk (about eight minutes) on leaving the tube station, follow the road around to Putney Bridge and cross over to the other side of the road (towards the church) at the traffic lights.

Cross over the river, turn right immediately and follow the Lower Richmond Road for a couple of minutes – Weiss Road is on the left hand side with KFH estate agents on the corner- we are just behind them.

Closest British Rail station:
Putney Station is the closest mainline (above ground) rail station to the practice. Only one stop from Clapham Junction, many routes come through Putney from Waterloo.

To walk to the practice (about 12 minutes) turn right out of the station, cross the road, and walk along the High St until you get to Felsham Road on your left which has Wagamama and Barclays on the corners. Walk a couple of minutes along Felsham Road and Weiss Road will be on your right. We are at the river end on the left hand side.

By Bike:
Many of us commute by bike, and there are some lovely bike racks just outside the pub the Half Moon which are very secure. If you’ve forgotten your lock we have a very solid one we can lend you!
By Plane:
We are conveniently located close to the over and underground rail networks, offering easy access to Heathrow, Gatwick and City Airports. Putney is just a couple of stops to Waterloo on the mainline.
By Helicopter:
The nearest heliport is located in Battersea, on the South bank of the River Thames between Wandsworth and Battersea bridges.
